Hello,

On the main app page (android), I select my country (france) then enter my number 9 digit number ( here an example of a fake french internationnal number +33 1 23 45 67 89). After waiting for a while I don't receive the code to enter.

Hello there,

After you select France, in the box you need to enter only:

1 23 45 67 89 but with no spaces.

If you have the country code or spaces in that box, the SMS will not arrive.

The number we found just seems too short for a French number, can you please send me a private message with the entire number so we can see if the number we tried to send an SMS to is the same? The number you entered is only 8 digits long, so we think you forgot a digit somewhere.

Using iPad

Hi mark, no it doesn’t.
But normally when an app on the iPad ask for a phone number it stand separately from the iPad it self.  And I’ll get the verification code on my phone. Type in the code on the iPad and it works no problem.   This time I type in phone number but no sms appears on my phone. 

I would like to use this app on my iPad since it is a bigger screen and easier to handle

That explanation makes sense and it should have worked as you suggest.

But please note that SiMP's registration only works with valid mobile numbers.

If your number is a valid mobile number associated to your own mobile, then let us know the name of your carrier so that we can further investigate.

Anonymizing sites etc are automatically blocked.

The carrier is Ben. But I think it falls under the T-Mobile network.  Thank u for looking into it.

Can you please try again please?

We tried sending you from a few different networks and all sends have appeared to fail to reach you, so not sure what's wrong, but we've added one more network to test from and maybe now it works.

Please try up to 3 times and see if you get it the code.

Sorry to do this to you, but can you try once more please?

The SMS didn't go out of the gateway that we setup due to a routing error at our end.

So despite you trying, the test we wanted to do was not completed properly.

Ok, please do try again - a further mis-configuration on the ability to send to Netherlands caused the SMS to not send, even though we thought all was setup right.

Try again please and let us know.
