Normal Topic getting a 401 error when setting the SIB up first (Read 1637 times)

getting a 401 error when setting the SIB up first

During setup on iOS with an iPhone 11 the setup fails with a 401 error.  Any ideas?

Hi there,

Can you tell me please what is the SSID of your access point?

Also, in your password for your WiFi do you have any special characters? - we had another user report 401 error with issues related to SSID and/or password character types.

Please report that information, however, you could in the mean time (until we solve the problem), use the alternative method of pairing to your phone which is shown in this post:

My SSID is just ATTmassey

The PW is alphanumeric with no special characters.
No other device has had any difficulty connecting

Ok, so there's nothing strange at all in your SSID or password - that's interesting.

I have reported the issue to the engineer and hopefully he'll come up with a solution soon. In the mean time, please try the web based pairing as that works fine on any device.
